Gauttam joined the lab as a CSIR Junior Research Fellow in August 2020 and competed his PhD in August 2025. He holds an M.Sc. in Physics from the University of Hyderabad. His research focuses on plasmonic quantum dot heterostructures, aiming to explore their novel optical properties and potential applications in nanoscale photonics
